Matthew Kiichi Heafy or just Matt was born January 26, 1986 and is a Japanese-American musician who is the guitarist and lead vocalist of the heavy metal band, Trivium. He is also the lead vocalist of the band Capharnaum with his former producer of Trivium, Jason Suecof. September 15, 2012 - December 11, 2017
