seduce formed in detroit in the early 1980s. they built a cult following playing clubs nationally and released their self-titled debut in 1985. when movie producer Penelope Spheeris made The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years pseudo-documentary, she put seduce in it, which, due to their part in the movie and ensuing interviews in the press and all, resulted in pre-release orders of their second album of Too Much, Ain’t Enough to be in excess of allegedly 25,000 before it was even released. seduce do not sell anymore and attendance is down to bar room status. they never sold 25,000 copies of anything...

the album – released by I. R. S. Metal – even though it was not as heavy as their debut, would arguably have a better production and song quality, cementing the trio in the power metal world for the time being, as their songs of “Any Time or Place” and “Watchin’” got plays on heavy metal radio Z-ROCK and they opened for metal guitarist Vinnie Vincent during a tour. seduce never toured to suppoort either record but a few one off's sprinkled through-out the midwest without burns and were notably one of the worst bands in the city when their vocalist angelo ganos was fronting the band.

seduce remains together and still playing shows under capacity around the detroit area*. seduce are back to the bottom of the barrel in metro detroit. there is a slightly dwindling crowd fanbase of the usual balding, fat old drunken sheeple that still have no lives and are attracted to the 'what once was' oddity of thee good ole days... long gone and sadly a relic or oddity to see the cartoonish nature of three old dudes who should move along but have nothing else so they are in their 60's and 70's still playing dive bars in the city where they started. if it were'nt so pathetic it would be better then spinal tap or the ridicuous 'metal years' movie where they clown themselves and make the memory of the 80's as cringe worthy as it is now that we see it 30 years later. ask yourself how deperate you have to be to be playing in a garbage dump like detroit still thinking you're the top dog... on the bottom of the crud bucket. never mind no one will be making any paths to see the almighty seduce anytime soon but the left over under belly in murder city. no one goes there and no one cares. guys... really? lol. go away. get lives fellas.
