Lars Ulrich is a Danish drummer of the band Metallica. After publishing an advertisement in The Recycler, Ulrich met vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and formed Metallica. He has remained a member of the band since it's formation in 1981 and along with Hetfield has a writing credit on almost all of the bands songs.
