Ruurd Woltring
, born as Ruurd Frans Johan Woltring (Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, 14 March 1988) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, known from his collaboration with the Dutch symphonic metal band Epica.


Woltring was born and raised in Leeuwarden, where he currently still resides. He went to an elementary and secondary special education school and to an after-school daycare (6 years, 4 days a week). He studied VMBO-T English at the Friesland College in Leeuwarden. He currently works 3,5 shift a week at a copy shop for mentally and physically disabled people in Stiens and 2 shifts a week at a public elementary school in Stiens.

Recently, Woltring joined the Dutch symphonic rock/metal band "Between the Edges" as their keyboardist, pianist, producer, screamer and second songwriter.
